The Municipality of Pobiedziska is implementing the „Green-Blue Pobiedziska” project, co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the years 2014-2021. Two parks will be created: the Toddler Park and the City Park, a promenade illuminated by photovoltaic lamps, and the renaturation of the existing ditch between two lakes is also planned. Everything we do in this project is important for clean air and for people. Parks, striving for plantings throughout the municipality, and rainwater retention are meant to build resilience to climate change – says Mayor Ireneusz Antkowiak.
Currently, the construction of the pathway – promenade and the earthworks related to the arrangement of greenery are being completed.
Today, July 19, an agreement was signed with the contractor – GARTE Polska Sp. z o.o. from Swarzędz for the execution of the investment task entitled: „Construction of the Toddler Park in Pobiedziska” as part of the investment entitled: „Green-Blue Pobiedziska for task 1 „Development of the areas around the Small Lake in Pobiedziska” and actions: – creation of the „toddler” park with greenery planting and rainwater management. co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 within the program „Environment, Energy and Climate Change,” program area Climate.
The scope of work will include in particular:
- Designation of the playground area,
- Preparation of grass surfaces and surfaces with washed sand,
- Construction of hardened surfaces at the entrances to the playground, known as the „Toddler Park”,
- Installation of playground equipment and elements of small architecture, such as benches, bins, etc.,
- Construction of a playground fence with a gate and wickets,
- Landscaping with arranged greenery – plantings,
- Installation of park-type solar lighting. The value of the „Construction of the Toddler Park” task amounts to: PLN 885,877.73 gross.
Completion date: 120 days from the date of signing the contract, i.e., the end of November 2023.
